The Tundra biome is very succeptable to human influence.  Global warming, caused by the trapping of green house gasses, melts the permafrost in the tundra biome.  This causes problems for the plants and animals in the region.  Global warming can be prevented by not burning fossil fuels and by not driving carbon releasing vehicles.  Humans cause global warming inadvertantly.  There are efforts to reduce the use of fossil fuels and to create greener cars to help preserve the Tundra and Arctic regions.
